What's included
On-leash obedience focus
The main focus of the program will be to achieve basic, on leash obedience: Sit, Down, Stay, Heel, Come, and a place command. Once completed your dog will be able to reliably perform all of these commands, even in a public/busy setting. If you extend your dog’s board and train duration, we will begin working towards achieving all of these commands off leash as well.
Real-world socialization
Exposure to people, dogs, and everyday environments so new habits hold up beyond the training facility.
Exit lesson
A structured lesson teaching you how to handle and maintain the training that was taught during your dog’s stay.
Customizable program
This is a customizable program. If you have a specific request for training, I will train it (we can talk about whether or not the behavior is possible upon evaluation).
Regular updates
Video and picture updates throughout the program so you can follow your dog’s progress while they are with us.
Behavior modification
If the dog is struggling with problem behaviors, working through those issues will be the main focus of this program. Correcting the wrong behavior and teaching a better response through balanced training.

Puppy Foundation Program
This is for any puppy under 6 months of age.
Proper socialization
Your pup will be properly socialized to new things, environments, people, other animals, all to build a greater sense of confidence in the world. A dog that is confident, not fearful, is far more likely to make good decisions in life.
Foundational commands
Building a foundation on basic commands (sit, down, stay, heel, come, place) that will make training those behaviors easier as the dog grows up.
Crate breaking
Teaching the puppy to enjoy the crate, go in willingly, and be calm while in it.
House breaking
Teaching your puppy where to go and when.
Character development
We want our dogs to learn to enjoy the training process because training is something we do WITH our dogs, not TO them. If we start young, we can lay a solid foundation for enjoying the work and get a head start on all sorts of commands and behaviors. Manners are also important, how a dog is allowed to greet other people or other dogs, what is appropriate behavior when hanging out in the house. A dog that is taught from the start how to make good decisions.
Prey drive development
For puppies that will be learning protection training, it starts with early prey drive development. Tapping into that drive to show the pup when to bite, how to bite, and where to bite. The better foundation your puppy has with this training, the easier doing more advanced protection skills later will be. This also will build a lot of confidence in the work. Fearful dogs make poor decisions and end up becoming a liability. We want your dog to be a blessing with this skill, so building confidence in the work is key to have a protection dog that makes good decisions in the heat of the moment.
